Social networking sites make it far easier and quicker to disseminate information these days. They are an excellent means of taking a political stance, however mild. Could that be why the powers-that-be are now sending out a message that Facebook et al are `uncool´?![]()
One such stance, which I don´t happen to agree with, is against the Pope with reference to Harriet Harman´s equality bill.
Consideration for our fellow man is important, but there are those who seem to make it their life´s work to take the piss where religion is concerned. Or those who want to create chaos, presumably because it enlivens things for a spit in time. But why on earth would someone want to belong to a religion that did not accept their way of life or sexuality - except to cause discord?
Meanwhile, it´s nothing new to read reports on coma patients being able to hear but not communicate. I keep thinking of TA and having a strong sense she could hear me. Dad too, although with Dad, I could `hear´ him too.
These sad people need visual as well as auditory stimulation otherwise it is a terrible punishment seeing nothing but white ceiling. But the sounds too should be something that will challenge and stimulate. Not programmes they´d normally never listen to.
PS Wondering whether those women who shop in their pyjamas actually WASH? On second thoughts, I´d rather not wonder. Eurk.
PPS Have almost finished the outlines for about 30 motivational cartoons. Much harder than I realised. And they still need to be coloured in, have words added and any optional extras to give them oomph. Don´t think I will be able to make it to the Spring Fair after all. Just as well, as it seems it might snow again up North.
PPS Have deleted various items from online retailers as I want to do it properly with a range. Did I mention this is all HARD WORK.
