Stop Tony Blair Thurs 1: While I firmly believe in the power of thought, I do question whether there is some overall Mount Olympian playing games with us mere mortals. How else to explain how a seriously lying scumbag and warmonger like Tony Blair could be even remotely considered for the powerful position of EU President?

Yes I should be focusing on me and selling my art and books and getting commissions, but there are some things which are simply too important in life - the spiritual life of this universe. Stopping that vile man from getting anywhere near murdering more innocents is one of them.

I am not alone in this. Millions feel as I do. Yet still he gets nearer to his dream of becoming a kind of Holy Roman Emperor.

Unlike the character in The Ghost, by Robert Harris, I do not condone murder and pray to higher powers to stop him. The most I have done is mentally see him as small and helpless as a puppy, or under a miniature glass dome. Yet even that is not what I want to do.

I am happy for him to enjoy his wealthy trappings and live long - just nowhere near power over the rest of us. I really feel immensely strongly about this as anything he touches will mean hardship and suffering for the rest of us in some way.

Meanwhile, more pragmatically: Crazy, chaotic, couple of days. I´d love to add that I achieved a lot, but it was more chasing, semi-productive, kind of work. And another month gone. Still, the sun is shining.

I long for the day when the jointly-owned home is sold and that is one less area of tension. Hopefully, it should also make me want to holiday in the West Country again. For now though everything is still uphill, and it is taking a lot of mind effort to focus on happy outcomes.

Meanwhile, in preparation for extending my (books) publishing business to include art merchandise (greetings cards et al), I have been checking out what sells. Actually, I can see me still ignoring market requirements and going my own way. It will come good in the end if I stay true to my passion. I hope.
