Sun 12: Read something about Leibniz early this morning. My mind then jumped to wanting all my God books together. (There was a logical association!) Thinking it would be an easy swap with my art books, I made a start on returning from the newsagents and having a quick breakfast.
Several hours later, with around 3,000 books shifted (ie ALL of them), and covered from head to foot in ancient dust, I now have nearly 150 unhomed books. How come they all fitted neatly somewhere before and now there is no space for them?
Still, after the first shock of seeing books everywhere, including those that fell and set the links on my laptop beeping, there is a refreshing new energy in the room.
The reason Leibniz triggered the book shifting was for Wise El´s Book of Big Thoughts. As soon as my bookkeeping and Shoebox Art Fair are out of the way, I shall be focusing totally on completing the graphic book. And now all relevant material is within immediate reach.
