misinformation

wedding SLJThurs 2: Wow! Great clip of Michael Jackson. I could certainly feel the suppressed energy and there was no way he looked frail and underweight. If anything, he looked more `manly´, albeit with his odd face. So it definitely puts the lie to the mass of misinformation around, especially the Halperin biography, it seems.

Funnily enough, I felt no emotion beyond normal compassion … until I saw that clip. And another on the same site with him singing `Gone too soon´. Sad.

If we had listened to the mass of rubbish in the press and on the internet, it would have been good riddance but this really does show a man who was raring to go. Perhaps too much as I know how spiritual energy can make one high.

As I have never taken recreational drugs (as opposed to headache tablets, antibiotics or antihistamines) I can´t comment on getting high that way. However, I have had many highs from work or spiritual practices and it can make sleep difficult. The solution for me is slowing my mind, and also Vick, which is now programmed in my brain for deep sleep.

Meanwhile, I went to Chichester this morning to drop off the posters, and thought I´d look for an outfit for the nephew´s wedding. I had bought shoes and handbag while I was in London a month ago, and today I found a dress which, happily, matches quite well. And all are substantially cheaper than the outfit I wore for the niece´s wedding.

Now to find a hat to match.

With the niece-outfit, I bought shoes/bag, dress, hat and crochet cardi (much prettier than it sounds! (See corner image.)) all separately - without taking them to colour match. Happily, they did - beautifully.

Had on cotton vest, red skirt … and FitFlops… as I traipsed round Chichester.

Once upon a time, I would not have been seen dead with such ugly footwear, especially with my thin legs. But increasing CF changes self-image for the better. I have been out and about with no eye makeup on and, oddly, have had more friendly attention.

That little aside was because, all hot and tacky, carting bags and wearing said ugly footwear, I went for a quick bite at a popular pub. In the `garden´, there were a group of young men, non-riff-raff, and, ah bliss, they paid me attention.

There is an old chestnut that when a woman reaches a certain age, she becomes invisible. Well I am obviously not.

Interestingly, in my own observational tests, thinking of God seems to increase that attention. Don´t think that would pass atheistic-science but it pleases me greatly when I notice.
