RIP Sister Dolores - a wonderful nun who taught us when we were totlets.
Like yesterday, it is currently FREEZING but I am trying to keep the heating off. Well it is May and the so-called warmer months help to level out rising bills. That’s why I want to spit when media, politicians and slebs with a need for something to say harp on about global warming.
Like life, much in nature is cyclical. If I am around then - and I hope not - those who endured arctic wastes will enjoy a much balmier lifestyle, while we will have to put up and shut up till the wheel turns once more.
Message to Cherie Blair: if you take contraception, you are not a ‘good Catholic’. You are simply practising on your terms and not those decreed by your faith.
Thanks to S at Aquarius PR, I managed to get a press pass to the Mind Body Spirit exhibition this week.
Too late to plug the show, apart from this snippet, but am hoping to find some good stories to pitch. But what a horrendously busy week. And I still have to find time to log my accounts.
Yes, they still have to be done. Less a question of organising and more one of starting again and then the mind chaos over Ma. I tend to complete things in my head first and then the actual process is super smooth. Unfortunately, as even the tiniest mis-log is kept for eternity (audit trails and all that), I have been putting off the dreaded moment because of the last palaver.
Meanwhile, the human-animal hybrid embryo bill seems to have been passed by unvisionary political plods - including my MP (Herbert by name!) I can understand the Fairy Godmother (aka Cameron) because of his little one, but evidently financial ’cause’ is more important than the longer term social and moral ‘effects’. And there will be these sad chimera roaming our land in the not too distant future.
