is a lifetime task say Grossbart and Sherman – and I agree. However, generous soul that I am, my blog does aim to help my readers – regular and casual – to make their self-knowledge quest slightly easier.

Self-healing needs self-knowledge yet sometimes we can recognise similarities with the challenges of others – hence – tada – uploading these awful photos of my skin rash. The back is of the dalmation blots and belly of the hives which suddenly appeared two or three days ago. At least nothing is itching at the moment.(The back never itched – only the scalp.)

So, skin complaints, possible yeast infection (and not down there!) but not the Louise Hay explanation according to Grossbart and Sherman. They opine it is down to a maternal issue (which I have mentioned here before, and does seem to resonate). But WHY, when I am listening to my skin, am I still getting the blasted things? The hives I put down to eating tomatoes for five days on the trot after abstaining for several months. Anyway more anon.

Meanwhile, I have been painting some Mini Abstracts. They are slightly larger than the ACEOs but, unlike the latter, they will be set in 8×10 mounts.  They are largely experimental, using Daniel Smith Watercolor (sic)Ground as a rough primer, instead of corrective.

And at last I can get roughly the same effect with watercolours that I have been able to achieve with oils and acrylics.  Because they are so small, I have been able to complete nearly 5 works in the last two days. So I may yet be able to take a stand at the December craft fair.

By the way, the general theme is hypnotic suggestion so even if they are not understood on a metaphysical level, the general image should draw in the eye hypnotically.

Will post the artworks when I get round to scanning them. I am still adding words to Series 1 of Wise El Wisdom and am only up to 13 (of 30).
