Over three days:

one marguerita, two glasses of wine and two portions of chips (aka french fries) with a salad and an onion omelette and about three cups of coffee.  Nothing too over the top then considering I was staying in an expensive hotel near the Tower of London, going to a party on the Saturday, and seeing another friend in East Finchley on the Sunday. spiritual-beings

Yet I got back home to a severely itchy scalp with much continuing shedding of dermis,  though the rest of me seems to have been mostly spared. Just a small raised rash in a couple of places. Continue reading

The good news

Hope is both the dalmation blobs and the tomato* rash are fading, as is the rash-induced pigmentation on my face. There are still some heat/sun-reactive swellings on the wrists, just under my thumbs but there is definitely an improvement everywhere.

[*Got a bit of a fright when it got horribly worse and darker before now appearing to get better.]

The search for self-knowledge

skinblight is a lifetime task say Grossbart and Sherman – and I agree. However, generous soul that I am, my blog does aim to help my readers – regular and casual – to make their self-knowledge quest slightly easier.

Self-healing needs self-knowledge yet sometimes we can recognise similarities with the challenges of others – hence – tada – uploading these awful photos of my skin rash. The back is of the dalmation blots and belly of the hives which suddenly appeared two or three days ago. At least nothing is itching at the moment.(The back never itched – only the scalp.)
